Pitch's strengths

Where Pitch is better

Pitch is a polished deck tool, and for a lot of work it's the better choice.

  • A polished editor, built for working together. Several people can work on a Pitch deck in real time, with full control of every slide. Cue has roles and a version for every edit, but no free-form canvas: you ask for a change, or edit the text and the slide order.
  • On-brand templates, and an agent that uses them. Templates are one of Pitch's strengths, and they keep decks on brand. Pitch Agent (May 2026) builds decks from them and can build a template from your website. It takes briefs, call notes and CSVs as input, edits by chat and spots weak slides.
  • Made for decks you send. Since November 2024, Pitch has sold itself as a complete pitching platform for sales, marketing, account managers and agencies, with digital sales rooms, tracked links and engagement analytics. Cue's share links count views, unique viewers and time per slide, which is less.

Cue's focus

Where Cue is different

Pitch is centered on decks you send, above all for sales. Cue is centered on the internal review you present live, every cycle, with new numbers.

  • The next cycle in one click

Start next review copies last cycle's deck, reads every bound number again from its source and writes a What changed slide that puts each number next to last cycle's. Story checks flag any slide whose words the new numbers no longer support. Pitch doesn't have this built in.

  • Numbers from the source, kept as snapshots

Bind a number, chart or table to Stripe, Amplitude, PostHog, HubSpot, Jira, Linear, a Google Sheet, a CSV, a JSON URL or any MCP server. Sources refresh every hour or every day, and publishing keeps a snapshot, so last month's review still shows last month's numbers. In Pitch, live data comes through its integrations.

  • A follow link instead of a screen share

People on the call open the follow link, and the real slides move with yours on their own screens, builds included, at full resolution. They need no account and no app. Pitch has no follow mode.

  • Each follower picks a language

Followers choose one of 30 languages and read the same slide, translated, in step with you. Numbers come in their format, and Arabic and Hebrew read right to left. Pitch doesn't translate.

  • Polls, Q&A and reactions

Open a poll from your remote and the results fill in on the big screen as people vote. Followers ask and upvote questions, and you or a moderator let them through. Pitch doesn't have these built in.

  • Present from your phone

Scan the QR code on Cue's start screen and your phone becomes the remote: next and back, speaker notes, a timer against your time budget and a preview of what's next. Or stay on the laptop, with presenter view in a second window.

  • Your AI can edit, not only create

Add Cue's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, and your agent can create decks, edit slides, bind data and start the next review, acting as you with your role. Pitch's MCP connector creates decks from your template, in Claude.

  • A brand kit the renderer enforces

Cue reads your website's colors, fonts and logo into a kit. Every slide takes its colors and fonts from the kit, and every color pairing has to pass a contrast check, so a deck can't drift off brand. A workspace keeps a library of kits, and each deck picks its own.

Together

Using both

Pitch exports to PowerPoint, and Cue imports PowerPoint files. Bring a recurring deck over as a .pptx, up to 20 MB and 60 slides, and Cue redraws every slide in your brand kit as slides you can edit, bind to live data and present. It tells you what didn't carry over, like animations and video.

Going the other way, any Cue deck downloads as an editable PowerPoint file, with real text, tables and charts, or as a PDF.

A sensible split: keep sales decks and rooms in Pitch, and run the weekly or monthly internal review in Cue.

The short answer

Which should you pick?

Pick Pitch if your decks go to customers and prospects, a team designs them together, and you want sales rooms and tracked links on what you send.

Pick Cue if you present the same internal review every week, month or quarter, your numbers live in tools like Stripe, Amplitude, Jira or a Google Sheet, and people follow from their own screens, in their own language.

Cue is free during early access. Later, Team will be €15 per seat per month, and viewers and commenters are free. See pricing.

Questions

Cue and Pitch, asked often

More in all questions.

How do the prices compare?

Pitch has a free plan, then Plus, Team and Business at €10, €15 and €20 per seat, billed yearly, according to its pricing page. Cue is free during early access. Later, a Free plan holds up to 3 decks, and Team will be €15 per seat per month. Seats are for people who edit: viewers and commenters are free. See Cue's pricing.

Can I bring my Pitch decks to Cue?

Yes. Export the deck from Pitch to PowerPoint and import the .pptx into Cue. Cue redraws every slide in your brand kit, so the deck takes your kit's colors and fonts, and it lists what didn't carry over, like animations and video.

Both work with Claude. What's the difference?

Pitch's MCP connector creates decks from your template, in Claude. Cue's MCP server works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, and your agent can also edit decks, bind data and start the next review, acting as you with your role. Every change it makes is a version you can restore.

Does Cue have sales rooms or tracked links?

No. Cue's share links count views, unique viewers and time per slide, without third-party trackers or IP addresses. If tracking the decks you send to prospects is the job, Pitch does more.
